Barricade WD is a self-adhesive, weather-resistive barrier that may be used over a variety of rigid substrates or underlays on both residential and commercial buildings.
It provides a high air, water, and UV-resistant wall underlay or weather resistive barrier that also passes water vapour effectively.

Scope Use
Barricade WD is designed to be applied over clean dry sound building substrates such as Masons Weather Defense fibre cement board, to provide a high air, water, and UV-resistant wall underlay or weather resistive barrier that also passes water vapour effectively.
Barricade WD is designed to shed water, yet freely pass water vapour. It will block the movement of air and cover all fixings and joints in the underlying substrate.
Barricade WD may be applied over many common construction rigid substrates. Once exterior elements such as the roof, soffit lining, and joinery have been installed, and the rigid underlay has been covered with Barricade WD, then interior works can carry on inside without the cladding being in place for up to 5 months. Interior and exterior trades can work in parallel to speed up programmes.
Masons Barricade WD contributes to the building's moisture management design. It provides a substantial secondary defense against intrusion of moisture and air for the life of the building.
